Under “The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998” our client was also entitled to claim interest, compensation and reasonable costs to the sum of £2,041.74.We successfully recovered the full principal sum and all additional costs within 5 days of instruction. The invoice being 724 days old at the date of instruction. This was a very good result for our client as the case had very little hope of being recovered due to the age.
