Welcome to the month of December! We cannot believe it’s almost Christmas! The year has gone quickly as we’ve been busy getting our clients paid!
Let’s take a look at what’s been happening during the month of November.
St Andrew’s Day Celebrations
As a proud Scottish business, we celebrated St Andrew’s Day (a couple of days early) at the Darcey Quigley and Know-it offices!
We enjoyed some fine Scottish delicacies including mini rolls and square sausage, haggis, neeps and tattie pies and shortbread!
UK Interest Rate Decrease
Early in November, the UK government announced that the interest rate would be decreasing from 5% to 4.75%. This was the second decrease of the year and is the lowest the interest rate has been in more than a year. This follows on from the Government releasing the UK Budget in early October. This brought about changes that has significant impacts on small businesses. Check out our blog for our guide to understand the affects these changes will have on your business.
